This really didn't go anywhere. Nothing was resolved really, no great turmoil abated, not even love rekindled. This short story felt more like the characters were resigned, like they didn't matter in their own lives. Strange but that's how I felt.
A sweet, short story of a couple who rekindle the love they've shared for 15 years.
I wish it was a part 2 of the book with a little longer I really love that short story I will be reading more of mr. Parker books I loved it
I loved this story , the characters was great. It was well written, with a good storyline. I wished it was longer
The story was exactly what I wanted in terms of the romantic edge. For a short story, the tension felt right. We saw the wants of the MC early on and the story progressed smoothly from there. The sexual action was pretty intense and well written. What didn't work for me was on the writing level. I could've done with a little less description, this is especially true when we have the drastic scene shift. Overall I think it was pretty good and I'd like to read more from the author.
This was a FREE DOWNLOAD that I would have gladly bought. To know that this author, looked at a picture for inspiration and wrote this story, is amazing. This is a very short story that I read while in a waiting room. This is a terrifically written romance about Mike and Eddie. This was an outstanding romance about an anniversary surprise that turned out to be magical just when they needed it most. To know this all came about through the inspiration from a photo, just shows what a remarkable author Sloan Parker truly is. I recommend you download this free story for a quick read!!
I usually don't read many short stories because they frequently are not worth publishing...so many are simply just sex stories. This one is good because there's a background that's being told both before and after the trip to Hawaii. Two men who have been together for 15 years and usually spend the anniversary with other manage to get to Hawaii and spend time alone. While short, this has the bones to be a much better and longer story should the writer want. I would like to see more of these characters and their friends.
